"Unknown Treasures" WWII Military Jackets
Description
WWII military costume pieces from unknown productions. There are three (3) pieces total in the collection: two jackets and one helmet.
Jacket #1: Brown wool jacket with button front closure and with a strap that buckles on front of waist. Jacket has hook and eye closures at front of collar, and epaulettes on shoulders. Burgundy shield shaped patches on each sleeve with a navy-blue border and cross in center. Patches have gold-toned swords that cross over each other in center. Each epaulette has three small patches with cream embroidered images of a crown, flower, and sword and sheath. Each side of chest has a patch pocket with flap closures. Pinned to interior of proper right pocket is a gold chain. Bermans and Nathans tag on interior.
Jacket #2: Olive green military jacket with red patches on lapels each with three small silver-toned stars. There are decorative military ribbon bars above the top proper left pocket. Jacket has four brass-toned buttons down center of obverse and at pocket closures. Bermans & Nathans label is attached to interior proper right side of jacket and reads “036 / G. Kusmagia (?).”
Helmet: Tropical military helmet covered in a white canvas like material. Hat has bill that wraps around edges of helmet, decorative band around crown, and knob at top of crown. Interior of helmet is lined with a green linen material along with a leather band that has a leather shin strap attached to it. Markings on leather band read “N+8” and “58.”
Includes Planet Hollywood Certificate of Authenticity.
Mannequins not included.
Condition
Jacket #1: No signs of damage.
Jacket #2: Second button on jacket has either been replaced or has lost all its color. Ribbons on obverse have a dingy appearance.
Helmet: Minor soiling throughout exterior. Knob on top of hat is slightly misshapen. Light wear to leather chin strap.
