"Unknown Treasure" Tweed Jacket and Skirt with Red Shirt and Hat

Description

Four-piece ensemble from an unknown production circa 1950s. Costume consists of a jacket, shirt, skirt, and hat.

Jacket: Brown flecked, tweed jacket with button front closure, long sleeves, and vertical welt pockets on each side of chest and waist. Interior is lined with red silk fabric.

Shirt: Red silk blouse with long sleeves and button front closure.

Skirt: Brown flecked, tweed skirt with zipper closure on reverse center of waistband. 20th Century Fox tag on interior on reverse has handwritten text reading “F04-22 / L. TURNER.”

Hat: Red cotton hat. Tag sewn into interior has “20TH Century-Fox” imprinted on it with “F04-86 / Lana Turner” written on it in black ink.

Includes Planet Hollywood Certificate of Authenticity.

Mannequins not included.

Jacket: No signs of damage.

Shirt: Small pinholes throughout.

Skirt: No signs of damage.

Hat: Overall good condition.
