"Unknown Treasure" Beige Striped Waistcoat

Description

Waistcoat from an unknown production. Beige cotton double-breasted vest with woven stripe and multi-color floral pattern throughout obverse. Brown satin back with orange satin adjustable waist tab. Welt pocket at each side of waist. Stamp on interior lining in red reads “WESTERN COSTUME CO. / HOLLYWOOD, CALIF. / 70.” Costume tag sewn into interior has text that reads “Western Costume Co. / HOLLYWOOD / NO. R. Rogers - Dbl / NAME R. Rog / BUST SLEEVE / WAIST SKT. LENGTH.”

Condition

Heavily discolored throughout with dark staining throughout bottom portion of obverse. Fabric at proper left shoulder is shredding. One button has fallen off.  Pinholes throughout.
