"The Greatest Show on Earth" Phyllis' (Dorothy Lamour) Brooch

Description

Obtained by the production for use in "The Greatest Show on Earth" (1952) for Dorothy Lamour's character "Phyllis." Obtained from Sotheby's, and personally owned by Ms. Lamour, this is a silver-toned, star-shaped brooch with faux rhinestones throughout. Arms of star are curved towards the proper left. Pin on reverse.

Item comes with a publicity photograph of "Phyllis" wearing the brooch in her hair. Photograph is stamped on the back with text that reads "From the private collection of / Dorothy Lamour."

Includes Planet Hollywood Certificate of Authenticity.

Condition

Metal is lightly tarnished throughout. Three (3) missing rhinestones on obverse.
