"The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera" Metal Lunchbox and Thermos

Description

Acquired from Christie's South Kensington, merchandising tie-in lunchbox and Thermos featuring “The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera" (1985-1994).

Lunchbox: Metal lunchbox with a hinged lid and a yellow plastic handle. The lunchbox has an image on the front of Hanna-Barbera cartoon characters riding in two cars and on a unicycle, with "THE FUNTASTIC WORLD OF / HANNA-BARBERA" written in a colorful logo at the top, and "THERMOS" in the bottom proper right corner. The back of the lunchbox shows Yogi Bear and other Hanna-Barbera characters having a picnic, with "THE FUNTASTIC WORLD OF / HANNA-BARBERA" written in a colorful logo at the top. The sides of the lunchbox are decorated with pictures of the cartoon characters from the show. Bottom edge reads "(C) 1977 Hanna Barbera / Productions Inc. / THERMOS DIVISION / KING SEELEY THERMOS CO.".

Thermos: Orange plastic thermos with a white plastic lid. The side reads "THE FUNTASTIC WORLD OF / HANNA-BARBERA" written in a colorful logo at the top, with images of cartoon characters beneath it. The side also reads "(c) 1977 / Hanna- / Barbera / Productions / Inc.". The lid reads "THERMOS" on the top.

Includes Planet Hollywood Certificate of Authenticity.

Condition

Lunchbox: Minor rusting along the edges. The surface is bubbling slightly throughout.

Thermos: Very good condition.
