"The Colbys" (TV Series) Jason Colby's (Charlton Heston) Suit

Description

Obtained by the production for use in "The Colbys" (1985-1987) for Charlton Heston's character "Jason Colby." This is a three-piece lot consisting of a suit jacket, a suit vest, and a pair of suit pants. 

Includes Planet Hollywood Certificate of Authenticity.

Mannequins not included.

Jacket: Gray suit jacket with two gray plastic buttons at obverse closure, and four buttons at each sleeve opening. Flap pockets at obverse waist, and on pocket at proper left chest. Interior lined in patterned gray satin, with interior sleeves lined in white satin. Two vents in reverse, with a self-belt of gray satin connecting the flaps on the interior. Two pockets at interior left side; one on interior right. Interior tag indicates “CUSTOM DESIGNED BY / Joe Klapperman.” Padding at interior shoulders.

Vest: Gray suit vest with plastic gray buttons at obverse closure. Faux flap pockets with real pockets above at obverse waist. Reverse and interior made of patterned gray satin. Self-belt with black Velcro on reverse. 

Pants: Gray suit pants with pleats down pant legs. Pockets at waist. Double metal hook-and-eye closures with metal zipper at fly. Interior tag has “CHARLTON / HESTON” handwritten, with “JULY 1985” and “ASP” written below.

Condition

Jacket: Pin holes throughout obverse, interior, reverse, mostly at proper right near bottom. Minor wrinkling. Dark water stain at proper right underarm on reverse. Minor discoloration at shoulders.

Vest: Minor wrinkling throughout.

Pants: Minor wrinkling. Minor loose strings at interior seams. Minor pin holes in obverse.
