"The Baby-Sitters Club" (1995) Telephone, Baseball Glove, and Potholders

Description

Created and obtained by the production for use in "The Baby-Sitters Club" (1995)." Obtained directly from Columbia Pictures. This is a four-piece collection consisting of a telephone, baseball glove, and two potholders.

Includes Planet Hollywood Certificate of Authenticity.

Telephone: Cream colored plastic push-button telephone. Receiver has button to select tone or pulse dial. Proper right side of receiver has sliding button to select loudness of earpiece. Base has button to turn ringer on or off.

Baseball Glove: Leather baseball glove with "EASTON" label on backside of wrist. "Ivory" written on interior of wrist. Writing throughout palm of glove that reads "GENUINE LEATHER", "FLEX LACE" DOUBLE / FLEX / LACE", "EASTON", "BLACK / MAGIC", "FORM FIT / POCKET, "FLEX NOTCH", "13 INCH PATTERN / EX 533."

Potholders: One blue and one yellow square advertisement potholders with white text on one side that reads “WHEN / THINGS GET / TOO HOT / TO HANDLE... / Call THE / BABYSITTER’S / CLUB / 555-8231”. The other side has the same text except “the / babysitter’s / club” is written in the center of a drawn image of a sun. Potholders have small loops at the top corner to hang them.

Condition

Telephone: Monofilament between outer covering of receiver has been cut, leaving behind a sharp point on each side. It has also caused the case to crack at the exit point. Light scratching throughout.

Baseball Glove: Minor staining throughout exterior of glove. Leather slightly worn.

Blue Potholder: Very minor grime buildup throughout potholder.

Yellow Potholder: Minor soiling throughout both sides of potholder. Small pinholes throughout.
