"That Thing You Do!" Prop Mercyhurst College Pennant

Description

Prop pennant for Mercyhurst College obtained by the production for use in "That Thing You Do!" (1996). Dark red pennant with yellow image of the Mercyhurst College seal which reads "MERCYHURST COLLEGE / 19 / 26 / Carpe Diem / ERIE-PENNA." Remainder of flag has yellow writing that reads "MERCYHURST / COLLEGE". Pennant has yellow fabric along proper right edge along with a thin wooden pole.

Note: The fictional Mercyhurst College seen in the film was based on the real Mercyhurst College (now Mercyhurst University) in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Includes Planet Hollywood Certificate of Authenticity.

Condition

Creases throughout pennant. Dirt/grime build up throughout, visible on lettering on pennant. Light staining on yellow fabric on proper right side.
