"Planet Hollywood" Planet Hollywood Terminator Components

"Planet Hollywood" Planet Hollywood Terminator Components

Description

Latex and rubber head with neck in the image of Arnold Schwarzenegger, and leather jacket that was once part of a "Terminator" made for Planet Hollywood by Stan Winston Studios. Head was made using the original mold used in "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" (1991).

Head has not been tested to see if light is still functional.

Includes Planet Hollywood Certificate of Authenticity.

Head:  Head and neck are made of a soft latex face that is intentionally damaged to show a robotic endoskeleton where the skin is "missing." Faux blood is "leaking" from small "wounds" on the head. A metallic eye with a red pupil takes the place of the proper right eye. Hair is present on the top of the head where the robotic pieces are not as well as on the present eyebrow areas. Head was once connected to a mannequin body and the edges of the bottom are not cleanly cut and made for display. The bottom is a hard foam with a white pipe in the center that goes vertically up the neck. Two wires protrude from the pipe.

Jacket: Black leather jacket with zipper closure on obverse center, one pocket on obverse proper right, and three pockets on obverse proper left side. Jacket has an attached leather belt at waist.

Condition

Head:  Hairline tear on nose that goes most of the way through from the proper right to the proper left. Small amount of loss noted at bottom center of nose towards the front. Cut on upper lip with separation noted, but no loss found. Robotic eye is loose, but attached. Hard foam at bottom is fragile and is gradually wearing off. Minor loss noted on hard foam. Latex at bottom of neck is torn in multiple places along the edge. Cut or tear on the reverse at the bottom edge to the proper right of center.

Jacket: Jacket is intentionally distressed with additional wear due to age.
