"Reasonable Doubts" Tess Kaufman's (Marlee Matlin) Eyeglasses, Tinted Lenses, and Briefcase

Description

Acquired by the production for use in "Reasonable Doubts" (1991-1993) for Marlee Matlin's character "Assistant District Attorney Tess Kaufman." This three (3) piece lot consists of eyeglasses, tinted lenses, and a briefcase. Collection was obtained directly from Marlee Matlin in 1992.

Includes Planet Hollywood Certificate of Authenticity.

Eyeglasses: Thin black wire framed round glasses with dark tortoise plastic around prescription lenses. Proper right temple reads " OLIVER PEOPLES L.A. [ 2 circles], [2 triangles], [2 squares], and "FRAME JAPAN" on the temple tip. Proper left temple reads "MP 2 MBK 383" and "45" on temple tip.

Tinted Lenses: Clip-on black metal frame sunglasses with tinted lenses that are made to clip over eyeglasses. Top bridge is bendable.  Clips on top and bottom of each lens hold them in place while on the eyeglasses.

Briefcase: Dark brown leather briefcase with two handles and padded shoulder strap. Briefcase has four exterior pockets and three interior pockets.

Condition

Eyeglasses: Minor chips on interior proper left lens. Nose bridge is bent slightly out of shape.  Smudges and minor debris on lenses. Proper right temple bent slightly outward.

Tinted Lenses: Accretion lower interior proper right lens. Minor smudges and debris to lenses

Briefcase: Shoulder strap padding is worn and soiled. Creases throughout shoulder strap. Wear to bottom and corners of briefcase. White stain on shoulder strap. Scratches on interior around handles from nailed used to keep handles suspended.
