"In Living Color" Cephus' (David Alan Grier) and Reesie's (Kim Wayans) Jumpsuits

Description

A pair of jumpsuits obtained by the production for use in "In Living Color" (1990-1994) for David Alan Grier's character "Cephus," and Kim Wayans' character "Reesie." This is a three-piece lot consisting of two jumpsuits (one for each respective character) and one headband worn by Kim Wayans. 

Costumes were worn during the “Cephus and Reesie: Bar Mitzvah” sketch which aired on October 20, 1991.

Includes Planet Hollywood Certificate of Authenticity.

Mannequins not included.

Cephus' Jumpsuit: Shimmering pink jumpsuit with green sequins at collar, shoulders, and arms.  Zipper front closure. "MB” written in black ink on interior near proper left armhole.  Sequined belt attached at center on reverse.

Reesie's Jumpsuit: Shimmering pink jumpsuit with green sequins at collar, shoulders, and arms.  Zipper front closure. "FB” written in black ink on interior near proper right armhole.  Sequined belt attached at center on reverse.

Reesie's Headband: Pink velvet headband with Velcro closure at center of reverse.  Center of obverse features and oval with green, pink, and purple faux jewels glued onto it.

Condition

Jumpsuits: Loose threads throughout sequined areas.

Reesie's Headband: Light discoloration throughout.
