"Flip" Geraldine's (Flip Wilson) Dress

Description

Dress obtained by the production for use in "Flip" (1970-1974) for Flip Wilson's character "Geraldine." Pink, purple, and pale green sack dress with V-neck and long sleeve. Dress has zipper closure on reverse. Handwriting found on interior of dress that reads “BB / 3831” in black ink.

Acquired from Butterfield & Butterfield auction house.

Includes Planet Hollywood Certificate of Authenticity.

Mannequin not included.

Condition

Tears to shoulders of dress and proper left sleeve. Dress is faded throughout. Minor spots of discoloration on obverse of bodice. Spots of discoloration on interior.
