"Empire Records" Rex Manning's (Maxwell Caulfield) Costume

Description

Acquired by the production for use in "Empire Records" (1995) for Maxwell Caulfield's character "Rex Manning" to wear in the "Say No More" music video. This is a three-piece collection consisting of a shirt, a vest, and a pair of pants.

Costume acquired directly from New Regency Productions, Inc.

Includes Planet Hollywood Certificate of Authenticity.

Mannequins not included.

Shirt: Off-white, button down, dress shirt with ruffles throughout the top of lapel. Interior tag at neckline has been removed. Tag attached to interior proper left side reads “100% / RAYON / DRY / CLEAN / ONLY / Made in U.S.A.”

Vest: Black vest made with a corduroy back and velvet front panels. Front of vest has four black buttons covered in black plastic gems. Proper right panel has one faux welt pocket, while proper left panel has two faux welt pockets. Interior is lined with black satin fabric.

Pants: Black denim pants. “REX” written in black marker on size tag on interior of pants.

Condition

Shirt: Staining on proper left cuff. Creases throughout collar. Minor soiling to shoulders and collar. Faint staining throughout reverse side of shirt.

Vest: Color is slightly faded on top of shoulders where vest was hung up. Overall excellent condition.

Pants: Overall good condition.
