Text on front reads "No. 23 / Aug. / Will you risk reading tales of / CAPTAIN / DECAY / 25¢ / Inside: / A tale so unreal, / so terror / Fraught! / but so close to the truth!" False cover over the comic book "The New Adventures of Superboy" Issue 49 (1983). Seen in Season 1, Episode 6: "Time Flies."

Condition

Small creases on front cover to the left and right of "DECAY," and at the top proper left corner. Creasing at spine. Small abrasion to the proper right of the "25¢" area. Faux cover does not completely cover the original comic and is seen at the very top and bottom. Pages of the comic itself have faded and yellowed due to age.
