"Destiny Turns on the Radio" Johnny Destiny's (Quentin Tarantino) Sunglasses, Shoes, and Undergarment

Description

Acquired by the production for use in "Destiny Turns on the Radio" (1995) for Quentin Tarantino's character "Johnny Destiny." This is a four-piece lot consisting of a pair of sunglasses, a pair of underwear, and a pair of shoes.

Includes Planet Hollywood Certificate of Authenticity.

Mannequin not included.

Undergarment: Nude spandex pair of brief style undergarment. Tag on interior waist has been removed.

Sunglasses: Sepia tone sunglasses with metal frames. Sunglasses have thicker metal around lens and a thin top bar over the bridge. Text on interior of temple tips that reads “CORNING OPTICS” and "FRAME JAPAN 6227.”

Shoes: Pair of black leather dress shoes with wing tip toes. Shoes are primarily comprised of patent leather with matte leather around the ankles and tops of vamps. Shoes have leather soles and rubber heels. Markings on interior soles match labels on interior linings that read “STACY ADAMS / SINCE / 1875 [logo] / TRADE MARK.” Markings on interior sides of shoes read “12 D 00375_01 / 100985 / LEATHER & MAN MADE PATENT UPPER A4 / LEATHER LININGS / & OUTSOLE / MAN-MADE INSOLE.”

Condition

Undergarment: Minor snags on front of waistband. Faint spots of red bleeding on obverse at top of waist and edges of leg holes.

Sunglasses: Minor scratch to proper right eye rim of sunglasses resulting in a loss of paint. Minor grime build-up on frame in between top wire and bridge. Minor scratches to temple tips.

Shoes: Minor scratches around toes and heels of the shoes. Minor creases throughout vamps. Pinholes on outsoles and heels from previous display. Wear to bottom of soles most likely from use.
