"Dead Poets Society" Prop "Welton Honor" Newspaper

Description

Obtained directly from Louis Fleming (a member of the art department for the film) this prop edition of the "Welton Honor" newspaper was created for the production for use in "Dead Poets Society" (1989). The newspaper reads “WELTON HONOR” at the top with a profile image of a lion in between the two words. Article near the center of the paper has a headline that reads "Welton's Need / For Women!" Image near bottom center is of Robin Williams as John Keating with a headline above the image that reads “Welton Welcomes New Teacher- / Alumnus; Mr. John Keating.”

Includes Planet Hollywood Certificate of Authenticity.

Condition

Paper has yellowed over time. Creased horizontally at center. Small piece of plastic adhered to top left corner on the back side.
