"Bram Stoker's Dracula" Miniature Sailing Ships

Description

Collection of three (3) sailing ships: one (1) model ship, and two (2) two-dimensional ships on clear plastic sheets attached to a handle. Created by the production for use in "Bram Stoker's Dracula" (1992).

Obtained directly from Four Ward Productions.

Includes Planet Hollywood Certificate of Authenticity

Model Ship: Miniature plastic sailing ship with three masts.  Sails are rolled up on the masts.  Two lifeboats on port side and two lifeboats on starboard side.  Only the Starboard side of the ship is painted.  Ships is glued onto a piece of plastic that has been painted black.

Cardstock Ships: Two miniature sailing ships made printed onto cardstock.  Starboard sides are showing.  The ships have been cut out and adhered to Mylar with details of the masts and sails painted onto the cardstock and Mylar.  Reverse sides are attached to pieces of wood that have been painted black. 

Condition

Model Ship: Glue residue visible on sails and where ship attaches to base. Unable to determine if this is original or if it is the result of repair. Top portion of center mast is not attached straight. Rear mast has broken in two with the top half still attached to the strings.

Cardstock Ship #1: Portion of front mast peeling away from Mylar. Mylar sheet is slightly curved.

Cardstock Ship #2: Sails are beginning to separate from Mylar. Creases along bottom of ship with small areas of surface loss. Mylar sheet is slightly curved.
