"Annie" (1982) Newspaper featuring Annie (Aileen Quinn)

Description

Newspaper created by the production for use in "Annie" (1995) for Aileen Quinn's performance as "Annie." Prop edition of the New York Graphic newspaper; "Vol XXV, No. 81", "New York City, N.Y", and "PRICE TWO CENTS" written across the top of the newspaper underneath the name of the paper.  Headline of paper in large black font reads "ANNIE STILL / AN ORPHAN".  Underneath headline is a photo. The photo on proper right is of Annie in her dress with white cuff on the short sleeves and white collar. Text underneath photo reads "Little Orphan Annie" with article on proper left of image. Other pages are cutout from recycled newspapers. Pages are bound at spine with some loose pages on interior.

Condition

Paper has yellowed over time. Bottom proper right corner is bent upwards from previous improper storage. Minor tears on proper right on spine.
