"Alien Nation" (TV Series) Costume Police Uniform

Description

Acquired by the production for use in the television series "Alien Nation" (1989-1990). This is a four-piece ensemble consisting of a police uniform shirt, pants, necktie, and belt. A second belt is included.

Includes Planet Hollywood Certificate of Authenticity.

Mannequins not included.

Shirt: Navy blue long-sleeve, button-down shirt. Patch sewn onto proper left arm. Flap pocket at each side of chest. Patch has an image of an eagle with outstretched wings with a red, white, and blue shield in the center. Text above the image reads ‘POLICE / DEPT.” Size 14 2 2.

Pants: Black polyester pants. Size 34R. “34” written in black marker on interior of waistband and on maker’s tag. Four pockets on seat of pants.

Necktie: Black clip-on necktie. Label on reverse that reads “UNIFORMS INC. / POLYESTER/WOOL MADE IN / POD #PN1-026 THE U.S.A.”

Belt: Black leather belt with silver-toned square belt buckle. Markings on reverse side of belt read “Raggs” and “34”.

Belt: Black leather belt with silver-toned square belt buckle. Markings on reverse side of belt read “36 Top Grade / BONDED LEATHER” and “36.”

Condition

Shirt: Overall good condition.

Pants: White accretions at proper right knee

Necktie: Top portion of tie is slightly faded.  Pinhole in center of tie at top.

Belt: Leather is hardened throughout and end with holes is slightly warped.  Heavy cracking in leather on reverse surrounding holes.

Belt: Cracking throughout reverse of belt.
