"Delirious" Rachel Hedison's (Emma Samms) Costume

Description

Obtained by the production for use in "Delirious" (1991) for Emma Samm's character "Rachel Hedison." This is a six-piece ensemble consisting of a dress, jacket, sunglasses, earrings, parasol, and purse.

Includes Planet Hollywood Certificate of Authenticity.

Mannequin not included.

Dress: Off-white dress with sweetheart neckline and thin spaghetti shoulder straps. Hook and eye closures can be found on reverse side of straps at interior. Interior tag notes dress is made by “JIKI / Monte-Carlo / creations” and is a size 38. Zipper closure can be found on reverse side of dress. Zipper is stuck.

Jacket: White sheer jacket with decorative rhinestones throughout and decorative rhinestone buttons on cuffs of jacket sleeves.

Sunglasses: White plastic, Valentino brand sunglasses. Each side of sunglasses has small rhinestones throughout and black and gold “V.”

Earrings: Pearl earrings with decorative rhinestones. A teardrop shaped pearl is attached to the top portions of the earrings with decorative beading attached at the top.

Parasol: Off-white parasol with plastic handle and ruffle trim around edges and at bottom of handle.

Purse: White purse with flap closure and white rope strap. Flap of purse has decorative silver ribbon adhered throughout making five round designs that have a pearl bead or rhinestone at center. There are four oblong rhinestone gems adhered to the flap of the purse.

Condition

Dress: Yellow spot of discoloration on the proper right under the arm. Zipper has broken on reverse. Visible pinholes on on the front.

Jacket: Minor tears to jacket on back at the top center area. Jacket has a slight odor. Minor creases throughout. Spot of discoloration on lower proper right sleeve. Collar is slightly misshapen.

Sunglasses: Light scratches throughout.

Earrings: Beading at top of teardrop shaped pearl of one earring is loose. Plastic backing is yellowing.

Parasol: Light marks around handle.

Purse: Purse is yellowing throughout exterior. Grime buildup on proper right side of purse.
